Eagle Update: 8/9/12

One of our readers, Beky (who comments as Tokahfang) paid a visit to our friend in the hospital today and gave the following report:

I got to spend about an hour and a half with Eagle. He is getting visits every few days from his coworkers, who are very supportive. He is off of the heavy pain meds and looking for a path to go home and get back to work, but the hospital staff seems to be pushing him to at least a short stay in a skilled nursing facility for wound care.

  1. Thanks, Tokahfang, for spending time with Eagle. And thank you for giving us an update on his status.

Keep on keepin’ on, Eagle. We’re rooting for you.

  2. Thanks for the progress report, Becky and CM ! Happy to hear your pain is less, Eagle! AND, you’re on your way out of the hospital-right on! Still praying…:0)

  3. Eagle, we’re praying and thinking of you. So glad to hear you’re getting better. It may seem to be a slow slog but you’ll be home before too long!

  4. I just want to share with Eagle that a short stay in rehab/skilled nursing care was very helpful to me.

It could help in building up his strength, and he could have access to physical therapy which literally helped me build strength in my ;egs/

  5. Hey Eagle,

So glad to hear that you’re improving. Give yourself every advantage at this point & you’ll get better faster in the long run. The short stay thing soundslike a good idea…

Sending solid British love & wishes for a quick recovery.

  6. Come back soon, Eagle. We miss you!

  7. Thanks, I have ended up searching for information on this topic for ages and yours is the best I¡¯ve identified till today. But, what about the conclusion? Are an individual sure in regards to the source?
