SONG OF THE YEAR 2019
“Golden Embers,” from Tides of a Teardrop by Mandolin Orange

This year’s best song describes how hard we must work to help each other in the face of devastating losses, lest they divide and overcome us. The poignant video portrays a father and son, each grappling with his own grief and how it threatens their ongoing relationship.

  5. Susan, my prayers are with you all, and with the firefighters.

  6. Folks, I’m fine with sharing prayer requests and all, but that’s not really the purpose of the blog. I’d rather you exchange emails and communicate that way or join the Facebook group and keep up with each other there. I’m gratified that we can communicate, but it really isn’t the purpose of most of the daily blog posts.

Perhaps I could help by having a weekly update post or something like that where folks could share.
